About 12:30 pm today, i checked my email and got the reply from Green Pumpkin. Unfortunately, they are unable to collaborate with us but here is the reply they gave us.

Hi people , JACQUELYN WAS HERE ..

28th of April :
I went to a Japanese Bakery Shop call " Oshii " but their boss wasn't around and they aren't when the boss is returning from oversea.

29th of April:
I found a shop called : "Sunny Korean Cuisine" .  After explaning to them about what our project are regarding about ,they gave us the permission to allow us to work with them. This shop is going to be opening in July and its is going to be located at West Coast Plaza . So i believe that we can help them advertise before the opening of shop.
So i can officially declare that this F N B company accept us :)

Approached Company: A-GanTea

Blog entry #001: 26 Apr 2012

A-GanTea is a drinks shop. The shop I found is located in Dhoby Ghaut MRT #B2-06. After I finished my work (around 7:30 PM), I just stepped by to explain to their workers about our project. The worker said that she needs to contact to the manager of the branch.

Blog entry #002: 27 Apr 2012

I visited the shop again and talk to their workers again. I went there around 5:30.  They are still unable to contact to the manager. And I intend to visit next day.

Blog entry #003: 28 Apr 2012

I visited the shop around 6 o'clock(PM). Their worker said the manager was quite busy so he is unable to show up personally. The worker has already told the manager about my plan. She said that they already have the Facebook page and the website. They are quite satisfied with their popularity.  They said our plan was good, but they think they do not really need this plan for now. 

However, I smiled and thanked to them for taking the time to listen to our plan. 

Approached Company: Bao Gong XO Fish Head Bee Hoon

This is Sheng Yang here, I called Bao Gong XO Fish Head Bee Hoon, at 1pm, 28th April. A staff picked up and I told him we are a group of students from Singapore Polytechnic and we wanted to help set up a blog, a facebook page, as well as a twitter page. He seemed not too enthusiastic about the proposal and told me to call back at a later hour as they were very busy then. Their boss was also not in at that point of time.

Blog Entry:#001 29th April

On April 27th , around 3:30pm, i searched for a company that we can collaborate with. After some searching, I thought that Green Pumpkin @ Nex , will really collaborate with us. So I sent an email on April 28th , 8:30pm hoping that they would reply me as soon as possible.

I have not received a reply regarding the collaboration yet but will think of back up plans to try and contact with if the proposal is rejected by Green Pumpkin. Hopefully, by Monday April 30th , I will receive their reply to think of plans. I am planning to call them tomorrow if the email is not replied and will try to convince them to collaborate with us.

 Planning to Call MAN ZHU restaurant on Monday to seek their approval. Didnt call today as they will be very busy and would likely turn us down as they wouldnt have time to listen to me due to the massive crowd.

Approached Company: Taste Of HongKong Cafe

On 28th April 2012, around 2.35pm, I obtained the phone number of the Taste of Hongkong Cafe online and decided to call them up. A Chinese lady picked up the phone and I gave her a brief introduction of who I am and what I proposed to do with the websites, if she agreed. However she humbly said that it was not her place to decide, and hence asked me to ring up the promoter, Ms Karen instead. She then gave me her phone number and I proceeded with the next call.

When she picked up, she did sound a little busy but I took little notice of it and continued giving her the same introduction and overview of my project scope. She then expressed her interest but told me to email her instead as she was busy. I agreed and email-ed her, but unfortunately, she might have given me a wrong address as both deliveries resulted in one "failure" and "delay".

I intend to call her again, when she hopefully would be less busy.
